The Jazz in the Garden Series begins its 17th season in May. The free concert series features jazz artists performing a wide variety of styles—salsa, blues fusion, xylophone, Afrofunk, and more—every Friday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 in the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden. We’ll be checking out the first concert of the series featuring Matuto, an acclaimed Brazilian Bluegrass band. We will be getting there-there early cause it packs up quickly, so join us as soon as you can! Look for the Moishe House sign, picnic style snacks provided but feel free to bring even more noshes!
Need something to do after the event? There will be an Oneg hosted at the Capital Hill Moishe House in partnership with the Jewish Federation. For those interested, the event can be found here. https://www.facebook.com/events/267456990324475/
