DC Nitelife is Spotlighting Pat B. Freeman, an Inspirational Business Speaker and Women’s Empowerment Coach – with a Focus on Entrepreneurship.
She is a serial entrepreneur herself, John Maxwell certified speaker and coach, and has been speaking in front of audiences since age 7. Pat holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Campbell University, Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from Florida State University, and post-graduate studies in Mass Communications from California State University – Fullerton. After losing her job of 15 years in 2015 due to a RIF (Reduction in Force), Pat decided it was time to live her childhood dream and become a “full-time” professional speaker. Eleven days after termination, she was presenting at her first national speaking engagement. Pat’s many years of experience as an administrator in community college leadership and as a serial-entrepreneur prepared her for the “pink slip.” Rather than see it as a loss, she saw it as an opportunity.
Pat’s wins and woes now fuel her passion for helping other professional and entrepreneurspirited women prepare for their next level up in their career or build their dream job as an entrepreneur. Pat is an expert at inspiring audiences to turn their inspiration into action and passion into a profitable business or side-income! Her services include keynote, coaching, workshops, and online courses to ensure each person has options to achieve their goals or “Big Dreams.”
Pat is the President of IAW Greensboro Chapter (International Association of Women, with nearly a million members – formerly NAPW, National Association of Professional Women). Pat is also an author, former radio host, and has over 20 years in Community College Leadership in Adult Education where she oversaw nearly 3500 students annually and led a team of 120+ faculty and staff.
