Ashton Kutcher is all about changing… be it diapers or public restroom policies.
The 37-year-old is among those who’ve inspired New York State Senator Brad Hoylman to sponsor a bill that would require both women’s and men’s public restrooms to have diaper changing stations. Back in March, Kutcher complained about the gender stereotyping in parenting on Facebook. “There are NEVER diaper changing stations in men’s public restrooms,” Ashton posted after a frustrating experience trying to change his daughter Wyatt’s diaper. The new dad then launched a Change.org petition aimed at getting Target and Cosco to provide equal access to changing stations in their store, inspiring Hoylman to take action. “Check it out!!! Our effort is working. A Bill in NY to require universal changing tables. We can make a difference. ?#?BeTheChange,” the actor wrote on Facebook after hearing the news. Watch the video to find out what the senator had to say about Ashton’s petition and tune in to “The Insider With Yahoo” on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
