Three-time Grammy nominated recording artist Raheem DeVaughn released his 2nd independent new album Love, Sex & Passion, on 368 Music Group/Entertainment One Music (eOne Music).   DC Nitelife was front and center at Raheem DeVaughn’s release party which was held at Eden Lounge in Washington, DC (owner Nick Sanchez) for his new album, “Love, Sex & Passion.”  The place was packed with many loyal fans and music industry people, who came to support Raheem.  Hennessy liquor was also present to support the new album and promote their brand. Raheem says that this album is very special and dear to him and displays some of his best work yet. The hit song entitled Queen was originally written for the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin and is very dear to him because of that.
Raheem’s up-tempo, feel-good single “Queen” is at radio now, and the single can be purchased on iTunes and other digital sites. The songs on Love, Sex & Passion are dedicated to the different facets of relationships, delivered with Raheem’s soulful lyrics and production. DeVaughn released two additional songs from the album leading up to street date, the sensuous “Temperature’s Rising” and the heart-wrenching ballad “When You Love Somebody.” Â In these times when R&B singers are succumbing to the pressure of what’s “hot,” Raheem continues to make music to uplift women and produce music that encourages us to value ourselves.
Raheem DeVaughn begins touring alongside fellow R&B peers Ledisi and Leela James on The Intimate Truth Tour. The North American leg of The Intimate Truth Tour will consist of 23 city performances beginning February 27, 2015 in Los Angeles, CA and concluding in Atlanta on March 29, 2015.
