Oops! Fans got an early glimpse of Swift’s theatrical music video for ‘Blank Space’ Monday after it was released ahead of schedule, but the 24-year-old singer has since shared it to her nearly 50 million Twitter followers.

The music video for Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space,” the hottest new track off “1989,” was leaked Monday by Yahoo ahead of schedule. The singer has since released it herself after the minor snafu. The director addressed the unannounced release earlier on Twitter.Â “I’ll link video later when I think it’s clear. I think it may be a mistake on yahoo’s part – they may have released it early by accident,” Kahn tweeted.Â “Yup. Yahoo effed up. Wait to see the ‘Blank Space’ video. Let Taylor introduce it herself. It’ll be worth it,” he added.Â The entertaining clip features the 24-year-old singer poking fun at her dating reputation by painting the picture of a relationship that starts off like a fairytale only to end in disaster.Â Swift really turns up the drama after she sees her love interest texting someone else.Â “Got a long list of ex-lovers/They’ll tell you I’m insane/But I’ve got a blank space, baby/And I’ll write your name,” Swift sings as she acts out as a stereotypical “crazy” girlfriend doing everything like dropping her beau’s phone in the water, setting his clothes on fire, slashing his picture with a knife and smashing his car with a golf clubÂ ”Â to name a few.Â The blond beauty, known for penning relatable ballads targeting any listener who has loved and lost, has had her heartbreak splashed across headline news over the course of her career after she generated multiple chart-topping hits allegedly about famous exes including Â John Mayer, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner.Â Hey, at least she has a sense of humor about it.
